In her role as Executive Vice President at Maybank, Shameem spearheaded the FutureReady program, contributing over RM1 billion in business impact through digital innovation. She championed AI democratization, increasing female representation in technology, and received recognition for Best Talent Management and Leadership Development practices. As the Executive in Residence at INSEAD, she conducts research on utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for digital transformation and promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Shameem holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology and an MBA from Indiana University, Bloomington, with a focus on creating superior organizational performance through talent management and leadership development.
