Mushamir Mustafa is the founder, CEO, and Master Storyteller of Humans of Kuala Lumpur (HOKL), Malaysia’s largest storytelling platform, reaching over 40 million people. Through HOKL, he captures the diverse stories of Kuala Lumpur's residents, covering topics from homelessness to healthcare challenges in rural Sarawak with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). His work advocates for social awareness and change, featuring inspiring entrepreneurs alongside Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC). A TEDx speaker on storytelling's impact, he also leads photography workshops, speaks on journalism, and has advised the Prime Minister on arts and culture. Additionally, he was Head of Editorial at World of Buzz and photojournalist for Bernama.
